Churchill Engineering, Inc., is a San Diego firm established in 2006, offering Building and Fire Code consulting services including Building Code compliance review, life safety analysis, accessibility analysis, feasibility studies, and alternate design, in the public and private sectors.

James E. Churchill is a registered Civil Engineer licensed in the states of California and Hawaii. He has over 26 years of building and fire code experience with emphasis on fire and life safety analysis. Mr. Churchill was employed by the City of San Diego from 1985 to 1998 as a Structural Engineering Senior and Project Manager. Mr. Churchill works closely with the City of San Diego Development Services Department on many projects, and is familiar with the protocols and procedures of the Department. Mr. Churchill also works with cities throughout California and other states on a variety of projects and developments.
