Prior to joining Schirmer Engineering Corporation, Mr. Churchill was a Structural Engineering Senior and Project Manager for the City of San Diego from May 1985 to October 1998. While at the City, responsibilities included managing large complex commercial, industrial, and residential project throughout all phases of development. Mr. Churchill was responsible for providing technical assistance to engineers, architects, and contractors regarding plan problems and construction issues; performing formal and informal preliminary plan review, and developing policies and procedures for the review of State regulated buildings.
Project experience includes: high rise office buildings, residential condominiums and hotels, university campuses, biotech facilities, private schools, large urban infill residential developments, theaters, historic buildings, religious facilities, restaurants, mixed-use facilities, and many other unique and complex structures.
